Following the sale of the Rolls-Royce brand to BMW, the Sales & Marketing team at Rolls-Royce & Bentley Motors needed to find a way to support the sales process for the planned ‘last of line’ Rolls-Royce models.
Our response was to develop a product configuration tool (‘Rolls-Royce Direct’) for the sales force to facilitate face-to-face off-site sales for the final Rolls-Royce model range. This programme was a precursor to the Bentley Car Configurator and allowed sales consultants to view and select colours/trim/options with the customer before producing an electronic order form that could be sent for processing.
